With 2019 drawing to a close, we are able to reflect on all of our achievements thus far. We are so extremely proud of all our staff at Trinity Homecare and what we have accomplished as a team. With an outstanding CQC title gained, more awards received, and charitable work achieved- take a look at some of our best moments in 2019!
When Trinity gained an “Oustanding” rating by the CQC
In February 2019, Trinity Homecare had received wonderful news from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) who monitor, inspect and regulate health and social care services across England.
After an inspection by the CQC, Trinity was set apart from the vast majority of other home care providers, with the latest figures showing that just “three percent of all adult social care services achieved its coveted ‘outstanding’ rating.”
Trinity’s Homecare Recruitment Award
We were delighted to have won an award for Innovation and Good Practice in Recruitment at the Surrey Care Awards, 2019. To top it, we were also finalists in four award categories from a county-wide selection of nominations:
- Care team of the year
- Excellence in delivering Dementia care
- Care provider of the year
- Innovation and good practice in recruitment
The launch of the CareFriends App which has rewarded our Trinity Care workers
In October 2019, we launched the CareFriends App for our staff and TrinityCarers. The App which is designed to give care workers rewards for their hard work and referrals has proven to be a real hit and has already started making a difference. Our care workers are able to recommend friends, who demonstrate the personal, trusting and caring qualities we are after. We have already seen fantastic results, and in return, our staff has been rewarded in many ways.
The introduction of our Learning and Development department for care workers
From March 2019, we appointed our head of the learning and development department, Marrissa. We now have a new diploma level 2 and 3 programme on the way in 2020, which is in partnership with the Homecare Association. Several people have successfully completed their courses at Nescott college!
Trinity’s charitable contributions
At Trinity, we are proud of the conditions in which we are able to support. Whether this is Dementia, Parkinsons or more complex conditions- we have raised a substantial amount of money for several charities and have formed some great partnerships. We are very proud to be Dementia Champions and continue to offer extensive learning and development to our staff.
In 2020, we are aiming to continue our charitable work, holding future events to inform our clients and raise awareness.
What 2020 holds for Trinity Homecare
Trinity has plenty prepared for 2020. With the Care Friends App making a great start, along with our learning and development department, we are confident in our ability to continue providing exceptional care workers. We will also be organising more events, and bringing back or dementia cafes which were in the past. We can’t thank you all enough for your continuous support and look forward to 2020!
