As 2019 draws to a close, the team at Trinity were able to join one another at the Surrey Care Awards in celebrating the outstanding home care contributions made by not just ourselves, but all of Surrey’s care workforce.
As we took our seats at the magnificent Epsom Downs Racecourse, the room filled with excitement and a great sense of pride shone through every guest. Smiles were exchanged and glasses were raised, as we went on to celebrate a truly spectacular event.
A warm welcome was given by Chairman David Holmes. Other guest speakers such as Lord Lieutenant of Surrey, Michael More-Molyneuz, Actress, Jenny Seagrove and BBC Presenter, Sylvie Blackmore also contributed to the evening in sharing their best wishes and passion for exceptional care.
David Holmes was right in saying:
“The dedication and commitment of all the people nominated tonight is truly inspirational.”
Trinity Homecare’s continual success at the Surrey Care Awards
Having won awards the last two years running, we felt so very proud to have had made it as finalists in four award categories from a county-wide selection of nominations:
- Care team of the year
- Excellence in delivering Dementia care
- Care provider of the year
- Innovation and good practice in recruitment
An Award for Innovation and Good Practice in Recruitment!
Whilst we were pipped to the post on three of the nominations, we were ecstatic when it was announced that we had won the award for Innovation and good practice in recruitment!
Trinity was proudly labelled as:
“A provider that has shown innovation in recruiting, developing and retaining a capable, confident and skilled work force”
All of the staff at Trinity cheered and celebrated as we received our third award from the Surrey Care Association, for the third year in a row. The last two awards we had received were for “Beyond Call of Duty” and “Care Manager of the Year”.
We were also recognised for our continuous commitment to innovate staff training, improving the candidate experience for job seekers. Our great leadership alongside team development has ultimately created a loyal and committed workforce.
A Huge Congratulations
Being nominated for so many awards left us all feeling really overwhelmed. To have won another award for the third year running really meant a lot to all of us and allowed us to feel appreciated in knowing that we are doing an outstanding job. We would like to congratulate the entire team at Trinity Homecare for their continual efforts. In particular, we would like to thank the recruitment team, learning and development team and our board of directors, pictured below.
Here is to wishing the entire team a fantastic last few weeks of 2019 and making 2020 just as great!
