To honour the strength of the staff, patients and loved ones at the Princess Alice Hospice, our very own Rachel Osgood and Alice Price challenged their own bravery by taking to the skies to skydive from 15,000ft!
We meet some truly inspirational individuals and organisations in our day-to-day lives at Trinity Homecare, and working closely with The Princess Alice Hospice in recent months has enabled us to truly appreciate both the support they provide, and the support they need to continue caring for their patients and their loved ones.
The Princess Alice Hospice provides both in-patient and out-patient palliative and end-of-life care, they provide counselling and support to loved ones, and they also research and educate advances in medical care.
Their values deeply resonate with us here at Trinity Homecare and we both share our commitments to supporting life’s journeys for everyone in our care.
Since the Princess Alice Hospice is a place of inspirational bravery, we wanted to really challenge ourselves.
Free-falling at around 140mph from a height of 15,000ft certainly isn’t for the faint-hearted, but Alice and Rachel both tackled this adrenaline-fuelled leap to honour the courage and strength of the staff, volunteers, patients and their loved ones at the Princess Alice Hospice.
The sensation of free-falling is an adrenaline rush that’s truly indescribable. Seeing the world from 15,000ft up gives you an entirely new perspective. The warmth of the sun and the rush if the wind evaporate your fears, and you feel humbled to have a fleeting view of how breathtaking and beautiful the world can be.
