Woking Community Care Organisations
From support groups to festivals, there are many Woking community organisations to provide support, care and entertainment – the town even has its own radio station!
A good place to start is with Age Concern Woking. They have all manner of local meet up places and organisations.
For all the history buffs in Woking, there is the Heritage Open Days 2016, where you’ll get a free behind the scenes tour of Woking’s most iconic buildings. You might think of Woking as a largely modern town but it is actually home to several nationally significant heritage sites and ancient churches. For more information, take a look at the Celebrate Woking website.
Woking also has its own radio station! Giving the latest information on weekly local events to updates of the latest local sports, you can learn how to tune into Radio Woking here.
