The Live-in Care Hub is the new name for the Live-in Care Information Hub
Trinity Homecare is a founder member of the Live-in Care Information hub which has renamed as the live-in care hub with the launch of the new liveincarehub website today.
The live-in care hub is a not-for-profit organisation, committed to improving the standards and quality of care across the UK but giving people the opportunity to be cared for in the comfort of their own home, where they can still enjoy their homely comforts and everyday life. As the experts in live-in care, the live-in care hub has been established to guide families through the range of live-in care options in an honest, impartial way.
We are currently working on a number of joint initiatives which includes research into the number of falls, urinary tract infections and hospital admissions arising from live-in care compared to residential care homes. Live-in care is a fantastic alternative to a residential care home but still relatively unknown and we want to evidence the benefits. More than simply another option, live-in care combines high levels of care with the added benefit of independence at home. There are fantastic physical and emotional benefits of live-in care which the hub has captured in a video entitled “The Next Chapter: Why live-in care is the preferred choice”. This emotional video sets out many of the differences between moving into a care home and remaining in your own home with a live-in carer.
Founded in 2013, all care providers within the live-in care hub are members of the UK Homecare Association (UKHCA) and share a vision to enlighten people on the benefits of live-in care with a commitment to the very highest standards of live-in care.
