Every year, Trinity Homecare and other care providers in the region of Surrey join one another in an awards ceremony hosted by the Surrey Care Association. For three years running, we have won awards for ‘Innovation and Good Practice in Recruitment 2019’, ‘Frontline Leader of the Year 2018’ and ‘Beyond the Call of Duty 2017’.
However, due to COVID-19, the 2020 Surrey Care Award ceremony was unable to take place as it usually would. No awards were given this year, but instead, the Surrey Care Association held an online celebration via Zoom to celebrate the care sector’s hard work, commitment, and dedication.
It goes without saying that this year has been challenging for everyone, with care providers being at the very forefront of this pandemic. For that reason, all providers, including Trinity, have been awarded a “Certificate of Gratitude”.
The celebration was an hour and a half long video, demonstrating the wonderful ways we are keeping our clients entertained and team spirits high. Celebrities such as David Walliams and other key speakers offered their kind words and gratitude to all of those in the care sector, which came as a very warm welcome.
It is fair to say that the celebration was one of a kind and certainly bought us tears of joy, laughter and a great sense of solidarity. If you were unable to attend the ceremony, you can watch the video in full, below.
